The most important process of setting up any type of pay-per-click advertisement is putting together an appealing and unique advertisement.
For this article, I am going to go over the steps you need to take to create the perfect Facebook Ads advertisement. You need to have something that is catchy, flashy, and will grab your user’s attention. The reason why it needs to be this way is because your prospects have no intention at clicking on your ad when they logon Facebook. They are there to simply chat with friends, send messages, and do social networking activities.
Your job is to distract the viewer by creating a gripping advertisement.
Title: Come up with some type of interesting offer related to your niche. For my niche, low price auctions I choose “Want an iPhone for cheap?” College kids are in a craze over iPhones right now, and on top of that they love low prices.
Body: I compared the auction site I am promoting to eBay. I describe that we have the lowest bids and lowest fees. College kids generally hate high fees and high prices, so I figured this line would get their attention.
Photo: Who hasn’t seen an iPhone yet? It’s like the universal sign of a fun gadget now. By uploading this photo, I am grabbing their attention to look at my ad right away.
Unique Selling Point: You always need to make sure your advertisements has a unique selling point, otherwise it will be hard to achieve a good conversion rate. If you simply would have just said “Come check out this new auction site!! Come sign up today!!” What will convince someone to sign up for the auction site you are promoting? There is really nothing convincing to that statement. By me changing the whole approach of the ad to gear it toward iPhone and picking one up cheap by winning an auction, I’ve put a unique point in the person’s mindset. Creating good advertisements has a lot to do with getting into the person’s mind to figure out what they NEED and highly WANT.
You really need to put yourself in the eyes of your visitor and really understand WHAT they want to see. If you were a sports fan, what would make you click on an advertisement? More importantly, what would make you click on that advertisement? Figure that out and you will experience very high converting advertisements that bring you lots of wealth day in and day out. The best way to learn what will work for you is by following your competitors.
By closely watching their techniques and advertisements, you can correctly position yourself to do the same exact technique they are using, while adding your own unique selling point. If your competitor is smart, it will turn into a back and forth battle, with both of you trying to outperform each other by adding a new selling point practically every day to make your offer convert better than the other. Be smart and ahead of him and you will do well!

Facebook Ads – What is the right budget to set?
When you are first experiencing with any pay-per-click program, you should be very wary of spending too much money too fast. By setting a small budget to begin with, you are correctly experimenting with what is going to work for you and your offer. Let’s think about the negatives of setting a high budget per day right away with a new advertisement:
-You have no idea if your offer will convert or not
-You have no idea if there is more demand for your offer then you anticipated
-You have no idea what will happen whatsoever
Why would you setup a $100 a day budget right away vs. a $10 budget?
Well, you’d be an idiot, that’s the only reason why.
Whenever you are starting out right away you should always test your market and offer with a small budget before cranking it up. Let’s say your $10 budget is converting very well – then it’s time to step up your budget to $20. From $20 move to $30 etc..
You never want to make any HUGE jumps in Internet Marketing, it’s better to take many baby steps first.
Split testing: Any professional marketer knows they key to succeeding is by testing their advertisements. This is no difference in what we are doing; you must test your offers! A new marketer might think they have a great offer and set their daily budget to $200-$300, which is a lot of money to them. Well, what if the offer the novice marketer thought was going to do well turned out to do horrible? They are out almost their entire marketing budget. I have seen this happen to many marketers and I hate to see it happen.
There is nothing wrong with setting a 5-10 dollar budget the first day with 3 different ads to see which one does best.
You also want to be able to have multiple landing pages for your visitor to land on. Put a statcounter code on these pages to see which ones are getting the most hits. You can sign up for free statcounter codes that will be invisible on your landing pages at www.statcounter.com . I use them for over 50 projects and have had great results.
Schedule: I prefer to run my advertisements from Saturday until Thursday. In my tests, I have come to the conclusion that Fridays and Sundays are not the greatest days for Internet Marketing. It seems like many people do not bother poking around the Internet and are out doing other activities. During the week and Saturday’s are generally my best days for profits. Schedule your ads accordingly to your peak times.
Budget Management: Be sure to manage your budget across many offers. Do not put all your eggs in one basket. Successful marketers have a lot going on that equals them to being successful. Do not be discouraged if one of your offers do not work, just cross it out and move on to the next one.

While many people believe it’s very to use facebook easily to setup a pay-per-click ad, it actually takes a lot of time and effort to make sure you have setup the perfect converting advertisement. Let’s go over the steps you need to take to ensure your advertisement pre qualifies your traffic to properly determine if they are buyer or just lookers.
First, when you are advertising on Facebook Ads you need to ensure that you are selling something that college kids wants to see. College kids account for about 60% of Facebooks Audience, so you need to be sure that your offer is interesting and grasps their attention almost immediately.
It amazes me how many people setup Ads that have no relevance or USP. (Unique selling point) One factor that you need to remember is the majority of people you are going to be marketing to are college students. An advertisement that requires the user to purchase a high ticket item or do anything that requires anything too extensive would probably not do well on Facebook. For this reason, I recommend doing heavy research into what a college student needs and wants. I prefer to market for college offers, financing, laptops, iPods, auctions, and jobs. You do not have to be limited to those niches, but that is a good start.
First, you need to be sure you have a catchy domain name for your advertisement. Be sure you don’t use any affiliate links or networks that are banned by Facebook. Doing this could get your Facebook Ad account banned right away! Use affiliate link cloakers or have your subdomain URL redirect to your affiliate link, but don’t use direct affiliate links.
Second, you need to find the right offer to match your domain name. I highly recommend signing with a CPA network such as AZoogle, as they offer top payouts and top converting offers. For our example, let’s say you were choosing the internet auction niche. You would want to target Facebook users that were interested in shopping. This will effectively target any Facebook user with an interest in shopping. After all, would you want your ad delivered to a profile that had no interest in buying items? Probably not, you have a much better chance at getting a signup through targeting users interested in shopping. Play around with the categories to see what works best for you. Next, I recommend choosing users that are 21 years and older. After all, you do not want to be promoting your item to people without credit cards. There are plenty of offers you can find on CPA networks like http://Azoogle.com that have offers for people under 21, but you have to do some searching. I personally have the best results keeping my age group above 21.
While we are talking about CPA networks, I’d like to explain it out for people who do not understand. CPA networks are the hottest networks in affiliate networking. If you can find a way to get a lot of affordable traffic, you can make a killing promoting offers like dating sites and other sites that pay-per-signup. Look for a network that offers the best payouts and conversion rates. CPA is literally everywhere now and is quickly becoming the most popular way of marketing.
That’s it for this article. Go get out there and try out Facebook Advertising!

So you wanna make money online? I don’t blame you, but how are you going to do it? Adwords? Maybe, but it’s getting harder to turn a profit. Yahoo Search Marketing? Sure, but they’ve been around for a long time and many of the niches are very saturated.
There is a brand new way of advertising your products and offers online called Facebook Ads. The program is brand new and has never been touched by marketers up until a couple of months ago. The program boasts paying the lowest CPC (cost per click) on the internet. With this said, my team investigated to see what type of results we received from promoting the same offers that we promote on Google and Yahoo. The results were amazing. It’s actually very possible to make money online using Facebook Ads.
Facebook did have a program called “Facebook Fliers” that was successful, but not well liked by internet marketers and promoters. The reason being was you had to pay per thousand impressions and not per click. Marketers decided that they would rather pay per qualified click rather than showing impressions to every bob, joe, and jane on the Facebook network.
Now, here comes Facebook Ads, where you pay per click. On top of paying per click, you are able to target your audience of viewers however you want to. You can target them based on age, gender, geographic area, school, hobby, anything! This option is great, because do you really want to be promoting a sports offer to a 16 year old female? Probably not. Facebook Ads has really changed how internet marketers are able to promote their offers and keep profit margins high.
Nobody knows what the future will bring for networks like Adwords, Yahoo PPC, and MSN Adcenter. The saturation of marketers, niches, and offers has become very high and the days of making thousands of dollars a day paying nearly nothing for your clicks are long gone. The internet is constantly changing and it seems that Facebook is doing their best to keep up with everything that is happening on the internet in relation to trends, marketers wants, and their users wants.
The main reason why Facebook is so successful is because of the popularity of their network. Close to 100 million high school students, college students, and other people are registered and log in every single day of the week. Facebook has become much of an addiction and a necessity across high schools and college campuses. By experts predictions, Facebook will continue to grow for decades to come. Their network includes every feature a teenager or college student could ever want to stay in contact with their friends. The evolution of Facebook Applications proved to be very successful by allowing developers to create their own applications and place them on Facebook.
If you can’t tell by my excitement towards Facebook, it’s really an amazing place to be right now if you are a marketer. The opportunities are abundant, all you need is a bit or originality to turn large profits.

If you haven’t noticed yet, you can make some serious money creating Facebook applications. Facebook applications are basically software programs or modules that can be added to any users Facebook profile relatively easily. Applications for Facebook have gained a great deal of popularity in the last few years due to the uniqueness and ease of creating them.
The opportunity with Facebook applications is incredible. All these programs are is simply little snips of computer code that work within Facebook. People have been able to make tens of thousands of dollars in a very short period of time by simply creating very viral Facebook applications. The programmers that create the hard to use, non viral applications are generally the ones that are left around to collect dust.
Be sure to create an application that is creative and can be easily understood by the average Facebook user. Usually the most successful apps are the ones that an average college student with not a large attention span can understand and play with easily and quickly.
I’ve seen Facebook apps sell for five figures very easily simply due to the amount of users and activity the application sees on a daily basis.
The key to having a Facebook application that will be used a lot is creating something that is simple, easy to use, fun, and viral. The most important factor is the application being viral. Now, you may ask , how do I make an application viral? Well, it’s actually quite easy. All you need to do is put yourself in the seat of the user.
What will make the user tell his or her friends about your application? What will make the person want to give it to his or her friends? In my opinion, it needs to be something that really gets into someone’s life.
A new application that is becoming very popular on Facebook is called “Compare.” What it does is it compares each one of your friends to another friend. It will randomly take two of your friends and ask you a question like “Who’s the better kisser?” Once you click the person’s name they are notified they beat someone and have moved up in the leader board. The real success to this application is it gets EVERYONE involved. It’s almost like playing battleship against your friends. The creator of the Compare application was very innovative and smart knowing that he would be able to generate a lot of traffic because of how viral his program is.
Will you make the application that becomes one of the most popular and actively used applications?
Well, I sure hope so. Let’s look at the ones in the top three. Funwall, Super Wall, and Top Friends. These three applications are easy to use, effective, and fun.
If you choose to create an application make sure it is fun and viral and you should do very well. Do not work on creating something so complex that nobody will want to install it. Be smart!!
