MLM Marketing is a great way to earn from home and is the only option for many people. Mom’s who have children that aren’t of age to go to school, artists that have to spend more time on a project than a given day, or writers who need to be alone to work are all examples of people who aren’t able to work an 8 to 5 job, it simply wouldn’t work.

Keep a professional schedule. It’s easy to take a day off in MLM marketing, especially when it’s a gloomy day and your bed is extra warm and cozy but don’t do it. Force yourself to keep and reasonable working schedule. This will help you build momentum to continue to grow your MLM marketing business. Keep in mind as it’s been stated before, “It’s easier to keep going that it is to get going”.

Get dressed. It is hard to stay motivated by working in your pajamas. It creates a natural sleep mode mentality which ultimately leads to less productivity on your part. You want to be sure you do everyday things that you usually do. I often hear people say they like MLM marketing because they can work from home in their pajamas. I would question how successful those people really are. They are either super successful and no longer need to work, which I don’t know why you would be talking to them in the first place, or it’s more than likely they aren’t successful at all and are just trying to lure you in to their MLM marketing program by using it as a benefit.

MLM Marketing Rule #3

Discourage interruptions. As anyone involved in MLM marketing knows, this is the single most difficult thing to do. The kids need something or the dog barks to be let out and back in. The wife or roommate stops by to remind you of something, ask a question or start a conversation. You want to make it clear you are at work. Pretend you are at the office the same way you would if you have a J-O-B that you drive to everyday. You wouldn’t be at home so keep it that way. If that doesn’t work think of using a “DO NOT DISTURB” sign and don’t acknowledge anyone or anything that could distract you from working.

MLM Marketing Rule #4

Beware of scams. If you are new to MLM marketing or home business in general I would advise you to beware of an opportunity that says “work from home” or any variation there of. Remember, an employer is looking for someone with a specific skillset not for people who work at home in general. If you read something that is too general more than likely you will be required to send or invest some money and the job will never materialize. There isn’t a job on this planet that should require you to put money up front because you are looking to earn it, not spend it.

What I Learned From My Mlm Training

If you are also struggling with your mlm business and thinking that there must be a better way, I wrote this article just for you. It does not matter if you are an mlm consultant with Quixtar, Herbalife, Amway or any other top network marketing company. This article is for you.
The mlm training showed me that everything we have been taught about building a network marketing business is wrong. I had to clear my mind of the lies that I have been told. Lies such as:
1. Everyone qualifies as my prospects. Therefore, everyone wants this. They just do not know it yet.
2. We are not really selling products. We are simply sharing.
3. Network marketing is easy. Anyone can do this business.
4. No selling or recruiting is needed. We will build your business for you.
5. Our products are the best on the market. Everyone will want them.
6. You do not have enough belief. You got to fake it to make it.
7. Trust in the proven system. It works. Do not try to recreate it.
These lies will continuously have you spending time and money chasing prospects who are not interested in your mlm opportunity plus giving products away. Eventually you will find yourself losing more than you are gaining.
Can you relate? I am sure most of you can.
At this point you can either fake it to make it, or, try something new. I was ready to try new network marketing strategies. This is where I began implementing new tactics in my mlm business.
My mlm training taught me that business systems are more important than my products. I learned that business systems work 24/7, are a great source of leverage and are very important in achieving mlm success. I recommend to all my prospects who are interested in network marketing to develop systems in their mlm business.
After learning about systems, I was taught that communication is the next priority. By communication I mean mlm marketing. Every business, whether traditional or network marketing, should use proper marketing strategies.
Mlm marketing strategies are used to attract prospects to our network marketing business. Being professional helps a lot in mlm lead generation. Prospects search you out instead of you looking for them.
One way of being a professional is by using informational marketing. By delivering helpful and useful information to your target market, they will come back to you for more. Then soon they will want to join your network marketing business with less resistance.
Would this make life in network marketing easier? Of course it will. Prospects coming to you instead of you going out there thinking multi level marketing is for everyone and ending up facing rejection and embarrassment. You will save a lot of time and money by being a professional mlm consultant.
At this point my regular mlm training comes in. I still do follow ups but there is a big difference. My prospects are already sold to the idea of network marketing and are mainly interested in the compensation plan. Therefore, I believe that I am well on my way to mlm success.

7 Reasons Why People Fail in MLM Marketing

It is a sad story. So many people hope to earn a decent income online. But only a few will survive. For example building a MLM business seems to be easy but reality strikes after a few months. Why is it that the majority of Multi Level Marketing entrepreneurs fail?

1. They get no support from their upline

Most MLM marketers concentrate on numbers. They want a huge downline as soon as possible. But they forget to add quality. They do not give a helping hand to the ones they recruited. And they do not get any help either from their upline. Teaching and being taught how to run this business is a major key to success.
In most standard MLM marketing programs, it is important that the new person gets immediate assistance from a local person, working one on one. Otherwise their chances for survival are very slim.

2. An MLM marketer needs some understanding about selling

This is probably the major reason most people do not make it in MLM marketing. By using standard MLM techniques, you have got to sell and learn how to speak at opportunity meetings and the like.

3. They are not able to recruit quality people

Next to the selling problem, this has to be the biggest reason most people fail in MLM marketing.
This is what happens. The new person has just joined an exciting MLM program. He is taught by the manuals and in the meetings how he should share his product with his friends, neighbours and relatives.
In most cases, he is not comfortable with this, and he will have many sleepless, tossing and turning nights. He just doesn’t want to impose on his friends! He would feel a lot more comfortable just presenting his opportunity to strangers.
My number one rule is not to try to convince family and friends. They will ask themselves from the moment they see the business taking off.

4. No true duplicative system

If the MLM marketing company must be promoted through expensive methods, this is not feasible.
Learning how to sell, or to speak and conduct an opportunity meeting is just not duplicative. Only a few people can do this. Here again, is a very important reason a lot of would be MLM’ers die on the vine.

5. Selling by mail using standard MLM techniques

Traditional way to marketing MLM is to spend all spare time to call around and travel around to get prospects. A lot of people already have a full time job, it is hard to find extra time to travel and make phone calls. This is why these MLM marketers cannot keep their program going.

6. The marketer is not sure about the MLM marketing company or service

Often a person will sign up in a MLM marketing program in a fit of excitement. After the dust clears, he comes down to earth and reality slowly sets in.
Pick an established and financially sound MLM company that is at least two years old with unquestionable products or services. That way, you can feel good about the company and products that you are promoting. There is nothing quite like being able to tell the complete truth to your prospective customers.

7. They leave too soon

Starting any company takes time, and this is true with an MLM marketing program as well.
Most people get depressed when things do not turn out as they had expected. And because they are not business minded anyway they put no effort in building their business anymore.
